The hotel is located in a very central and accessible location. As a woman traveling alone I never felt unsafe in the area around the hotel either. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room is not fancy, but I knew this from the start when I booked, but it had everything I needed and I was happy to stay there for 8 nights. The room was also cleaned every single day. Breakfast was good as well and there were a lot of options to choose from. As someone who is not familiar with a Turkish breakfast, it was quite nice to try all the variety of foods. Shoutout to the one guy working at reception (can't remember his name as I am terrible with names, but he spoke English quite well and also helped me when I checked in). He was always friendly and we always had good conversations when I entered the hotel late at night and he was working at the front desk. Traveling alone it was nice to be able to tell someone about some of my experiences. Lastly, the hotel organized a transfer for me from and to the airport and this also went smoothly. Would definitely recommend Grand Bazaar Hotel to anyone who is looking for a clean hotel in a safe and central location and has friendly staff who is willing to go the extra mile.

The hotel was lovely, clean and similar to the photos. Our room was light, airy and spacious, we had a family of 5 all in one room and it did not feel overcrowded. The bathroom was clean and well maintained. The hotel was close to tourist attractions (10 mins walk away) and the bazaar (5 mins walk away). There were restaurants, supermarkets and tram line (3 mins walk away). The staff were very friendly and helpful. My son hurt himself and needed stitches (no one’s fault). The staff called an ambulance, dealt with the situation in a calm manner and supported us too. Breakfast was the same everyday, there was not too much variety. It was always fresh though. There was a terrace on the roof that you could sit on and enjoy the view. It was beautiful. I would recommend this hotel and definitely stay there again. Thank you to all of the staff! We had an amazing time

I recommend this hotel. The staff were wonderful, I think it is family run which made it so much more enjoyable as they wanted to help. (Rather than a hotel chain) it is in a great traditional area where everyone we met was helpful and welcoming. The hotel was quiet, especially as Istanbul is a 24 hour city, the rooms were just right and we just loved our stay.

Nijat was very helpful from the start when I booked the hotel he was very informative. The staff member whose name I cannot remember was also very helpful. He gave us a choice of rooms when we arrived and gave us all the information needed for excursions and where to eat etc.

Check in went smoothly and all my expectations were met. Hotel staff was welcoming and friendly and they also prepared my airport transfer also . The hotel is walking distance for main tourist places. Lots of stores to shop, lots of local Turkish food restaurants around.
